About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create menus and standard recipes for the Arabic kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage staff shifts
  • Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the executive chef
  • Design, test, and implement food and drink menus
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Manage departmental budgets and culinary operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a culinary team
  • Experience working with A la carte menus
  • Knowledge of food preparation and service
  • Experience in stock ordering and financial management
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
