About the role
Responsibilities
- Create menus and standard recipes for the Arabic kitchen
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage staff shifts
- Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the executive chef
- Design, test, and implement food and drink menus
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
- Manage departmental budgets and culinary operations
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a culinary team
- Experience working with A la carte menus
- Knowledge of food preparation and service
- Experience in stock ordering and financial management
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
