About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in the overall management of the kitchen outlet
- Lead the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective department operations
- Oversee the training, growth, and development of junior chefs
- Maintain profitability and uphold the brand's culinary reputation
- Provide an extraordinary culinary experience for guests, especially during high-activity periods
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar Sous Chef role
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Ability to work cohesively within a diverse team
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and evenings
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a hotel environment
