Sourcing/Vendor Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across machining and forging category
• Develop and maintain a strong supplier network to support business growth
• Manage multiple vendors simultaneously while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Lead supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and cost validation to achieve optimal commercial outcomes
• Drive component and part development in collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams
• Build long-term vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance through regular reviews
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and supply chain efficiencies
• Take ownership of sourcing projects with a proactive, execution-focused approach

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in vendor development and sourcing within the Automotive industry
• Strong experience in Machining and Forging category
• Proven experience in vendor development, costing, cost validation, and commercial negotiations
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills
