Sourcing & Vendor Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and vendor development for machined components within the CFM category
• Evaluate, identify, and onboard new vendors to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Perform cost analysis, should-cost estimation, and cost benchmarking for machined and forged components
• Negotiate commercial terms, lead times, and pricing with suppliers to achieve procurement savings
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure technical feasibility and supplier alignment
• Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement in performance and capability
• Monitor supplier KPIs related to cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Ensure timely development and sourcing of new components for ongoing and upcoming projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or vendor development within the automotive sector
• Strong knowledge of machining, casting, and forging processes
• Excellent skills in costing, negotiation, and supplier management
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cost estimation tools
