Sourcing Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of sourcing professionals to ensure timely and compliant procurement execution
• Oversee the procurement of direct and indirect goods and services for local manufacturing and operational sites
• Negotiate complex, high-value contracts to secure best-in-class pricing, quality, and delivery terms
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and lead efforts to optimize the supplier base
• Create and evaluate formal bid packages for inventory and operational needs
• Troubleshoot procurement issues related to deliveries, order discrepancies, and quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal, and Finance teams
• Analyze market trends to identify risks and cost mitigation opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement
• Proven experience leading teams or managing complex projects
• Demonstrated track record of negotiating complex supplier contracts
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with ERP/SRM systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in procurement specifically for manufacturing or supply chain operations
• Background in the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industries
• Fluency in an additional European language
• Experience with digital sourcing platforms or data analytics tools such as Power BI
