Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute RFQs with suppliers to maximize continuity of supply and minimize total cost.
• Search for and provide local or regional sourcing options to meet specific project requirements.
• Identify and present cost reduction opportunities for purchased items.
• Complete ERP part setup by collecting and entering necessary part parameters and data enrichment.
• Drive suppliers to meet requests in a timely manner to support project deadlines.
• Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional departments to optimize business performance.
• Track project and process metrics and implement continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

• Experience in Purchasing and Sourcing within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
• BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and present to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle and Power BI.
• CPSM (Institute of Supply Management) or CPIM (ASCM) certification.
