Sourcing Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Execute seasonal and short-term sourcing plans for apparel to meet financial, quality, and safety requirements
• Communicate capacity and price requirements to maintain margins and delivery schedules
• Provide alternative merchandising and design options to meet commercial needs at competitive costs
• Review capacity plans and production schedules to optimize vendor utilization
• Manage product execution from sketch to delivery, including garment engineering and sample management
• Develop and coach a high-performing vendor team
• Track "Go to Market" adoption rates and ensure timely delivery of samples
• Analyze procurement costs and suggest methods to decrease expenditure

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in fashion apparel, fabric sourcing, or product development
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management within a relevant category
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
• Ability to negotiate and maintain professional networking relationships
• Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
• Degree in garment textiles is preferred
