Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify materials suitable for corporate contracts within assigned commodity scopes
• Develop and administer contracts to leverage corporate volume and achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Drive commodity performance via a P&L structure to achieve targeted net parts margin and cost savings
• Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost reduction within assigned commodity families
• Cultivate and maintain strategic regional and global supplier relationships at the executive level
• Support regional sites during critical component escalations
• Provide functional guidance and coaching to junior team members to support their professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field (or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience)
• Proven competence in procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics
• Demonstrated expertise in commodity management and driving KPIs
• Strong data analysis, decision-making, and project management capabilities
• Deep experience in contract negotiation, specifically Long Term Agreements (LTAs)
• Ability to perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and should-cost modeling
• Knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mexican labor laws (LFT) and the IMMEX/Maquiladora program
• Experience developing US or regionalization supplier risk management strategies
• Technical knowledge of die casting and machining for cost modeling
