Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for bags, scarves, wallets, fabrics, leather, trims, and accessories
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international vendors
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency
• Coordinate with design, merchandising, and production teams to meet sourcing requirements
• Ensure all materials and finished products meet brand quality and compliance standards
• Monitor production timelines to ensure on-time delivery
• Conduct vendor audits and regular performance evaluations
• Manage sampling, costing, and approvals in alignment with seasonal calendars
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, or cost escalations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Supply Chain, Textile, or a related field
• 4–7 years of sourcing experience specifically within fashion accessories or apparel
• Deep knowledge of materials including leather, PU, fabrics, and hardware
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control protocols
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and complex timelines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with both Indian and international manufacturers
• Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices
• Previous exposure to export-oriented or retail fashion brands
