Sourcing Manager - Memory and Storage

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategy development and execution for memory and storage technologies supporting AI infrastructure platforms
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with memory and storage suppliers
• Partner with Engineering and Product Management teams to influence technology roadmaps and supplier selection
• Lead supplier engagement activities including RFIs, RFQs, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations
• Negotiate pricing agreements, supply agreements, and capacity commitments
• Develop cost models, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analyses
• Monitor technology developments and industry trends across memory, storage, and AI infrastructure
• Drive supplier performance management through regular business reviews and scorecards
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through supplier diversification and contingency planning
• Support new product introduction activities by aligning supplier readiness with programme requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement within technology, semiconductor, or hardware environments
• Strong understanding of memory and storage technologies (DRAM, SSD, HDD)
• Proven success negotiating commercial agreements and long-term strategic partnerships
• Strong analytical skills including cost modelling and pricing analysis
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and technical teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sourcing server, networking, compute, or AI infrastructure technologies
• Knowledge of data centre, cloud infrastructure, or high-performance computing architectures
• Experience supporting new product introduction and lifecycle management for infrastructure hardware
• Familiarity with global supplier ecosystems across North America, Europe, and Asia
• Experience using data analytics or AI-enabled tools to improve sourcing processes
