Responsibilities
- Own sourcing strategy development and execution for memory and storage technologies
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with memory and storage suppliers
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management to influence technology roadmaps
- Lead supplier engagement activities including RFIs, RFQs, and contract negotiations
- Negotiate pricing agreements, supply agreements, and capacity commitments
- Develop cost models, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analyses
- Monitor technology developments and industry trends across memory and storage
- Drive supplier performance management through regular business reviews and scorecards
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through diversification and contingency planning
- Support new product introduction activities by aligning supplier readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline
- Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within technology, semiconductor, or hardware environments
- Strong understanding of memory and storage technologies (DRAM, SSD, HDD)
- Proven success negotiating commercial agreements and long-term strategic partnerships
- Strong analytical skills including cost modelling and pricing analysis
- Experience managing supplier performance and driving measurable improvements
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and technical teams
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience sourcing memory, storage, server, networking, or AI infrastructure technologies
- Knowledge of data centre, cloud infrastructure, or high-performance computing architectures
- Experience supporting new product introduction and lifecycle management
- Familiarity with global supplier ecosystems in North America, Europe, and Asia
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain planning
