Sourcing Manager, Energy Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Own the global sourcing strategy for batteries, solar PV panels, and inverters
• Negotiate long-term supply agreements with tier-1 manufacturers
• Build and maintain should-cost models for product categories, tracking commodity pricing
• Run supplier business reviews and hold partners accountable to quality and financial standards
• Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Finance, and Legal to align procurement with construction schedules
• Coordinate with logistics and customs teams for cross-border shipments and import compliance

Requirements

• Experience negotiating and closing large-scale supply agreements with tier-1 energy hardware manufacturers
• Technical understanding of BESS, solar PV systems, and power electronics
• Experience managing global supply chains across China, South Korea, or Southeast Asia
• Ability to build should-cost models from scratch to drive negotiations
• Proactive approach to tracking supply risk, financial health, and geopolitical exposure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data center, utility-scale, or large-scale industrial infrastructure sourcing
• Knowledge of IEC and UL certification requirements for energy storage and solar equipment
• Fluency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent procurement certification
• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
