Sourcing Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform technical reviews of parts to ensure manufacturability based on supplier technology, tolerances, materials, and cosmetic specifications
• Collaborate with Material Costing and Commodity Management teams to provide guidance on supplier selection
• Identify technology gaps within the current supplier portfolio through RFQ insights and strategic business direction
• Provide technical expertise and support to business units to ensure products meet customer timelines
• Drive lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions for assigned commodities within the Custom Engineered Components (CEC) organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 2+ years of related experience in sourcing or engineering roles
• Competence in procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics
• Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities
• Proven experience in project management and driving KPIs
• Demonstrated expertise in commodity management
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
