Sourcing and Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and procurement of goods and services from suppliers in North and South America
• Collaborate with vendors to confirm purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries
• Analyze inventory levels and monitor demand planning to initiate reorders
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Create and process purchase orders using the company procurement system
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays
• Coordinate with Product Development, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimizations
• Research and evaluate potential new suppliers based on quality and price

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in eCommerce or consumer goods
• Proven experience in vendor management, cost negotiations, and supply chain optimization
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate with North American vendors via phone daily
• Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software
• Detail-oriented and proactive mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
• Experience sourcing products, ingredients, and components in the CPG category highly preferred
