Sound Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment
• Set up and break down band and event equipment, including cabling and patching
• Operate audio control boards and perform audio adjustments to maintain professional mixes and safe levels
• Oversee visiting audio technicians and interact with production crews to ensure successful shows
• Maintain, protect, and repair audio, lighting, and stage equipment
• Assist the Production Manager with technical advances and artist representative coordination
• Distribute or create audio plans and oversee venue-wide audio systems
• Support the lighting crew with stands, microphones, and cables as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Tour and Stage Production experience
• Hands-on experience with professional audio systems, stage lighting, and basic video systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications
• Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• College Degree
