Sorter/Forklift

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets from loading docks to the sort line and determine pallet quality
• Remove debris and trash from pallets using hand tools
• Operate a forklift to move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the facility
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers, ensuring proper placement and securement
• Conduct pre-operation forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse environment
• Proven experience operating a forklift
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs throughout a work shift
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Operator certification or license
