Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of general ultrasound examinations in line with departmental protocols and clinical guidelines
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and interpretation
• Maintain comprehensive patient records
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain a strong focus on patient comfort, safety, and service efficiency

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
• HCPC registration
• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in general ultrasound
• Competence in performing a wide range of general scans
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously during weekends and bank holidays
