Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment
• Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results
• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality
• Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Certification in Obstetric Ultrasound
• Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software
• HCPC registration
• 1 year UK experience as a sonographer within NHS and private sectors
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
