Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a variety of clinical areas
• Work closely with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort during imaging
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to support clinical decisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
• Maintain excellent clinical standards and improve health outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Ultrasound
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (PGCert, PGDip, or MSc)
• Current HCPC or other relevant registration
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Band 7 Sonographer or equivalent
• Expertise in abdominal, gynecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging
• Proven ability to provide accurate, high-quality diagnostic reports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
