Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular scans
• Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards
• Conduct patient preparation, scans, and interpretation of results
• Provide detailed reports to assist in patient diagnosis and management
• Work closely with the healthcare team to support efficient service delivery
• Produce high quality ultrasound reports under the delegation of the lead radiologist

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer/Sonographer
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
• Extensive experience in a range of ultrasound procedures
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
