About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, thyroid, neck, liver, and vascular Doppler studies
- Ensure accurate image acquisition, optimization, and proper patient positioning
- Document measurements and technical findings clearly in EMR/PACS systems
- Collaborate with physicians in Radiology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology to support diagnostic decisions
- Maintain ultrasound and FibroTouch equipment through regular calibration and safety checks
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license as a Sonographer
- 2–4 years of clinical ultrasound experience
- Strong expertise in abdominal and thyroid ultrasound
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in liver elastography or FibroTouch
- Experience in vascular Doppler studies
- Background in specialty clinics such as endocrinology or metabolic health
