Responsibilities

• Provide in-person support to members in coordination with the Support Centre
• Work a flexible, 24-hour on-call roster to respond to incidents
• Assist the Area Manager in recruiting, training, and managing critical incident response capability
• Conduct stakeholder engagement to support business and operational outputs
• Provide input to operational procedures and network management
• Conduct emergency and non-emergency support responses as required

Requirements

• Recent or current experience in Australia within emergency services, military, or security-related work
• Ability to work a flexible, on-call roster
• Strong decision-making and ability to assess critical situations
• High level of self-awareness, motivation, and self-management
• Ability to set priorities and act on key issues with interpersonal sensitivity
• Must be able to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children’s Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in military, law enforcement, mental health, or emergency services
• A strong network of contacts in the local Canberra area
