About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive the overall wine vision and manage wine inventory and costing
  • Lead staff training in wine service, food pairings, and service excellence
  • Assist guests with beverage selections and guide them through the wine program
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to create wine and food pairings
  • Stay informed on industry trends and maintain supplier relationships
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing manager responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5 years of hospitality experience, preferably in fine dining as a sommelier
  • Minimum CMS Certification or equivalent
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong organizational and staff management skills
  • Ability to work shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends, and holidays
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Hospitality
