About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful wine service and curated beverage guidance
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional presentation
- Perform mise-en-place in the restaurant and cellar
- Advise guests on wine pairings for menu choices
- Manage cellar inventory and follow management procedures
- Assist, guide, and encourage the service team
- Ensure guest satisfaction through high-quality service
- Comply with all licensing, food safety, and health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years serving experience in high-volume or upscale restaurant environments
- Flexible availability for AM and PM shifts, including weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Working knowledge of classic cocktails, wine varietals, and beer styles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
