Responsibilities
- Management, curation, and updating of the wine list
- Personalized advice and pairings with tasting menus
- Management of wine stock, cellar, and inventory
- Participation in tastings and selection of new producers
- Training and awareness of the service team in wine culture
- Ensuring excellence in service aligned with Relais & Châteaux and Michelin standards
Requirements
- Sommelier training (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality
- Solid knowledge of Portuguese wines, especially Douro and Minho regions
- Proficiency in English; other languages are a plus
- Excellent communication skills and elegance in service
