Sommelier

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised wine recommendations and guide guests through selections with storytelling
• Present, open, and serve wines according to luxury hospitality standards
• Collaborate with Culinary and F&B teams to develop wine pairings and support menu launches
• Manage wine inventory, cellar organization, and proper storage requirements
• Promote premium beverage offerings to enhance revenue opportunities
• Provide ongoing wine education and guidance to Food & Beverage colleagues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of wine service areas and equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sommelier in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment
• Recognised wine qualification such as WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of international wines, grape varieties, regions, and food pairing
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage guests
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Passion for wine, gastronomy, and exceptional guest service
