Solutions Specialist-News, Market Intelligence & Data Solutions

Responsibilities

• Drive pre-sales activities by aligning client needs with data and software solutions to support revenue growth
• Support sales teams and internal stakeholders throughout the pre-sales process from qualification to solution alignment
• Conduct detailed analysis of client workflows, processes, and business requirements
• Map Moody’s solutions to client needs by demonstrating subject matter expertise
• Deliver product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and trial evaluations to showcase value
• Partner with product and technical teams to understand system architecture and integrations
• Act as a liaison between clients and product teams to provide feedback for roadmap planning
• Travel up to 50 percent to engage clients in person

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales experience
• Experience working with news or media solutions
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software solutions (CRM, ERP, etc.)
• Proven customer-facing experience leading sales discussions
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong commercial drive and ability to analyze business processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales of Data as a Service (DaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions
• Exposure to complex sales cycles
• Interest in or experience with Spark, SQL, and Python for API development
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and their application in business efficiency
