Solutions Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Solutions Engineering team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development
• Partner with Sales leadership across the full deal cycle, including discovery, technical qualification, demos, and POCs
• Act as a player-coach by personally leading strategic enterprise engagements and complex technical discussions
• Define the SE playbook, including demo standards, POC methodology, and technical discovery
• Serve as a bridge between customers and Product/Engineering to synthesize field signals into the product roadmap
• Work with founders to shape GTM strategy and technical positioning

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a technical customer-facing role
• 2+ years of experience directly managing or leading a team of solutions/sales engineers
• Technical proficiency in Python, APIs, infrastructure, and modern cloud/Kubernetes-based deployments
• Proven experience supporting enterprise or regulated customers
• Experience with cross-functional partnership across Sales, Product, and Engineering
• Strong operational rigor in forecasting, capacity planning, and POC frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building a Solutions/Sales Engineering function from the ground up at an early-stage startup
• Experience selling to technical buyers in regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, or legal
• Deep interest and knowledge in the latest developments in ML/AI
