Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Solutions Engineering team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development
- Partner with Sales leadership across the full deal cycle, including discovery, technical qualification, demos, and POCs
- Act as a player-coach by personally leading strategic enterprise engagements and complex technical discussions
- Define the SE playbook, including demo standards, POC methodology, and technical discovery
- Serve as a bridge between customers and Product/Engineering to synthesize field signals into the product roadmap
- Work with founders to shape GTM strategy and technical positioning
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a technical customer-facing role
- 2+ years of experience directly managing or leading a team of solutions/sales engineers
- Technical proficiency in Python, APIs, infrastructure, and modern cloud/Kubernetes-based deployments
- Proven experience supporting enterprise or regulated customers
- Experience with cross-functional partnership across Sales, Product, and Engineering
- Strong operational rigor in forecasting, capacity planning, and POC frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building a Solutions/Sales Engineering function from the ground up at an early-stage startup
- Experience selling to technical buyers in regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, or legal
- Deep interest and knowledge in the latest developments in ML/AI
