Solutions Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions for complex material flow and human/machine efficiency within the India Amazon supply chain.
• Lead and coordinate design efforts for the fulfillment and transportation network, including equipment specification, process design, and site layout.
• Manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects and conduct detailed design reviews post-implementation.
• Develop and document design standards in conjunction with worldwide design teams.
• Build strong working relationships with key partners such as Procurement, IT, WHS, and Operations.
• Travel to various sites across India to interact with business and technical leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in engineering, including a supervisory role managing people.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, automated, industrial, logistics, production, or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems.
