Solutions Engineer, Security & Privacy

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical security, data privacy, and compliance questionnaires (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, NIST)
• Act as a subject matter expert in pre-sales calls to defend infrastructure, encryption, and data handling to prospect CISOs
• Own and scale the technical RFP and security repository
• Collaborate with Corporate Security, DevOps, Legal, and Product Engineering to create customer-facing technical collateral
• Develop self-service security packages, whitepapers, and trust portals

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Technical Pre-Sales, Information Security, or Technical IT Audit
• Deep understanding of cloud-native SaaS architectures, API security, CDNs, and identity management (SSO, SAML, OAuth)
• Working fluency with global data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, PIPA, HIPAA)
• Strong project management and detail-oriented skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for navigating adversarial security reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CompTIA Security+, CISA, or CISSP
• Familiarity with marketing data flows including CDPs, ESPs, and CRMs
