Solutions Engineer

The Relay platform brings AI-native situational awareness and real-time operational intelligence to frontline environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise sales and customers to understand business objectives and technical requirements
• Design and architect scalable solutions using Relay's product suite and open APIs
• Build and demonstrate proof-of-concept solutions to validate technical requirements
• Lead technical diligence, including RFIs/RFPs, security questionnaires, and IT architecture reviews
• Document solution architecture and conduct handovers to Customer Success and Implementation teams
• Synthesize field intelligence to provide feedback to Product Management
• Develop technical enablement assets like architecture diagrams and integration cheat sheets

Requirements

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect)
• Experience translating complex business problems into technical solutions
• Hands-on experience building technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept deployments
• Experience leading enterprise technical diligence (RFPs, security reviews)
• Ability to work with APIs and integrations to build prototypes
• Exceptional communication skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, or industrial systems
• Familiarity with IoT infrastructure or industrial automation platforms
• Experience owning the technical track of strategic enterprise deals end-to-end
• Experience in consulting or professional services environments
