Responsibilities

• Join high-priority deals early as the technical partner to the AE to lead technical discovery and solutioning
• Translate customer architecture, constraints, and goals into a clear proposed approach including integration plans and risks
• Improve technical sales velocity by tightening the cycle from discovery to solutioning
• Support post-sale solutioning and expansion by participating in customer roadmap conversations
• Build solutions playbooks for Discovery and reference architecture to embed a repeatable solutions motion
• Create and maintain a lightweight knowledge base and product catalog
• Partner with AEs, CS, TIEs, and Product to surface recurring issues and feed learnings back into roadmap decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical Solutioning in a pre-sales environment
• Strong technical foundation in CS, STEM, engineering, math, or physics
• Prior experience working with APIs (selling, implementing, supporting, or solutioning)
• Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to match answers to underlying needs
• Comfort operating in both pre-sales and post-sales contexts
• High ownership and ability to produce durable assets like playbooks and demos
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment with ambiguous processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at API-first fintech/infra companies like Plaid or Stripe
• Experience with technical SaaS such as observability or data platforms
• Experience selling or solutioning into lenders, fintechs, or complex enterprise buyers
• History of creating technical enablement content and reusable solution frameworks
