Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority and point of contact during the sales and design cycle
• Translate customer business and technical requirements into compliant, cost-effective, and scalable data center infrastructure designs
• Develop conceptual and high-level detailed designs, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Lead technical input for RFP, RFQ, and tender responses, identifying risks, assumptions, and technical differentiators
• Support accounts teams with technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution walk-throughs
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and operations to ensure design feasibility and production readiness
• Participate in customer meetings, design workshops, and site visits to address technical questions and objections

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 3–7+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions engineering
• Proven experience within data center infrastructure, critical power and cooling, or modular/prefabricated building environments
• Strong technical understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, generators, PDUs, and cooling technologies (air, liquid, chilled water, DX)
• Proficiency with design and documentation tools including AutoCAD, Visio, and Excel
• Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and construction documents
