Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to run discovery, shape solutions, and serve as the technical counterpart in every evaluation.
• Drive proofs of concept (POCs) to clear technical wins with defined success criteria.
• Build and maintain demo environments across cloud infra, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and Nix-based workflows.
• Craft technical narratives, reference architectures, integration guides, and runbooks.
• Represent Flox at conferences, meetups, and customer workshops.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a hands-on technical customer-facing role in developer tools or infrastructure.
• Terminal-native technical depth with ability to read, write, and debug code.
• Working proficiency in at least two of: Python, Node/TypeScript, Go, Ruby, or Rust.
• Deep fluency in containers, Kubernetes, Docker internals, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts to both engineers and executives.
• Ability to manage multiple technical evaluations in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at an early-stage startup (Seed–Series B).
• Experience with virtual environments and dev containers.
• Familiarity with Nix.
• Background in financial services, cybersecurity, supply chain security, or SBOM tooling.
