About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical resource in customer conversations including on-site visits and technical feasibility discussions
- Work directly with customers on initial system design concepts, site integration requirements, and project scoping
- Support commercial proposal development including Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), system layout concepts, and technical specifications
- Build and maintain deep expertise in Redwood’s energy storage products, battery chemistry, pack configurations, and system architecture
- Partner with engineering teams to surface customer feedback and inform the development roadmap
- Enable the commercial team to operate independently on routine technical matters as Redwood scales
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Hands-on mindset with willingness to travel to customer sites and solve problems directly
- Ability to operate with high autonomy and make well-reasoned product decisions
- Up to 30% travel required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
