About the role
About the Company
depthfirst is building intelligence to detect and remediate critical software vulnerabilities. We are training and scaling security AI agents to discover zero-day vulnerabilities across large customer codebases and popular open source software.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead full-cycle technical evaluations from discovery through proof of value
- Partner with security and engineering stakeholders to define success criteria
- Demonstrate product differentiation against legacy SAST and SCA tools
- Work hands-on in customer CI/CD environments like GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins
- Translate technical validation into executive-ready ROI narratives for CISOs and CTOs
- Act as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering teams
- Help build and scale the solutions engineering function and playbooks
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
- Strong understanding of modern software development workflows and CI/CD systems
- Exposure to application security, vulnerability management, or secure SDLC
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers and executives
- High ownership mentality in fast-moving startup environments
- Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
