Solutions Engineer

About the Company

depthfirst is building intelligence to detect and remediate critical software vulnerabilities. We are training and scaling security AI agents to discover zero-day vulnerabilities across large customer codebases and popular open source software.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead full-cycle technical evaluations from discovery through proof of value
• Partner with security and engineering stakeholders to define success criteria
• Demonstrate product differentiation against legacy SAST and SCA tools
• Work hands-on in customer CI/CD environments like GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins
• Translate technical validation into executive-ready ROI narratives for CISOs and CTOs
• Act as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering teams
• Help build and scale the solutions engineering function and playbooks

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
• Strong understanding of modern software development workflows and CI/CD systems
• Exposure to application security, vulnerability management, or secure SDLC
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers and executives
• High ownership mentality in fast-moving startup environments
• Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
