Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and lead full-cycle technical evaluations, from initial discovery through proof of value and executive readout
• Partner with security and engineering stakeholders to define success criteria related to vulnerability detection and remediation speed
• Demonstrate product differentiation against legacy SAST and SCA tools through contextual code understanding and reachability analysis
• Work hands-on in customer CI/CD environments (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.) to ensure seamless deployment
• Translate technical validation into ROI narratives for executive stakeholders like CISOs and CTOs
• Act as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmap priorities
• Help build and scale the solutions engineering function, including playbooks and repeatable evaluation frameworks

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Security Engineer, etc.)
• Strong understanding of modern software development workflows and CI/CD systems
• Exposure to application security, vulnerability management, static analysis, or secure SDLC practices
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineers and executive stakeholders
• High ownership mentality and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
• Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
