Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research, explore, and identify customer business problems to design exceptional experiences
• Own the technical win and drive technical deals forward within assigned accounts
• Lead product demonstrations articulating the value of the full Box solution suite, including AI and security features
• Act as a technical quarterback managing extended teams from a solution standpoint
• Support field marketing events as a Subject Matter Expert and presenter
• Travel up to 50% to engage with customers in the territory

Requirements

• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting experience in SaaS, enterprise software, AI, or cloud platforms
• Technical fluency in AI concepts including LLMs, embeddings, and prompt engineering
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to build trust with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and demonstrate business value

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, REST, OAuth, JSON, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with low-code/no-code automation tools such as Nintex, Zapier, Workado, or n8n
