Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customers to understand requirements, scope solutions, and deliver production deployments for industrial IoT use cases
• Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, demos, and proof-of-concept builds
• Design and build full-stack applications, integrations, and backend services from prototype through production
• Implement protocol-level integrations including REST APIs, MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, and RTSP
• Develop and manage data processing pipelines using messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Contribute to edge-side software for sensor ingestion, buffering, and on-device processing
• Support reliable delivery through CI/CD, Kubernetes/Docker deployments, and infrastructure-as-code
• Produce customer-facing technical documentation, runbooks, and internal templates

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across client and server environments
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python
• Working proficiency in Rust or C++
• Experience designing and implementing scalable APIs, services, and integrations
• Experience with real-time or streaming data processing under latency and throughput constraints
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging protocols
• Experience with communication protocols such as REST APIs, MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, or RTSP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying software on resource-constrained Linux devices
• Experience taking solutions end-to-end from edge device deployment to cloud services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Svelte, React, Tailwind) and data visualization libraries
• Background in industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, or safety/security applications
• Familiarity with real-time data visualization and applied AI/ML
