Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level and low-level design documentation for monitoring solutions supporting multiple business services
• Act as a subject matter expert for support, project, demand, and integrator teams to ensure monitoring requirements are met
• Design, configure, optimize, and administer IT and network service management tools such as Cribl and Dynatrace
• Build and optimize business services, business processes, and IT service models with strong data quality controls
• Govern data accuracy and the quality of deliverables produced by suppliers and engineering teams
• Drive continuous improvement across day-to-day operations and engineering activities within tools and automation teams
• Apply ITIL practices across incident, change, capacity, and performance management disciplines

Requirements

• 6+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 3+ years in solutions architecture, business service modelling, or data quality control
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline
• Technical proficiency in UNIX and Windows operating systems (Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server)
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Experience with network and management protocols including SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, IPv4, and IPv6
• Proficiency in development and scripting languages including Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and shell scripting
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, object-oriented programming, and test-driven development
