Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Deliver product demonstrations that highlight how SolarWinds solutions address customer technical and business needs
• Provide technical guidance and support during product evaluations to help customers achieve success criteria
• Partner with Account Managers and sales teams to identify the right solution approach for each opportunity
• Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and solution working sessions with prospects and customers
• Gather and relay customer feedback on product functionality and enhancement requests to Product Management
• Maintain clear communication and accurate records of customer engagements in CRM systems

Requirements

• Deep technical understanding across networking, systems, software, and SaaS environments
• Experience in a pre-sales technical role with a software vendor
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and networking
• Proficiency in cloud and database technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solution recommendations and business value

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a SaaS Solutions Engineer
• Experience acting as a senior technical escalation point for other engineers
