Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the value, visions, and strategy of Pulumi to customers
• Own technical pre-sales engagements including discovery, demos, and proof-of-concepts
• Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical skills
• Serve as a technical partner to cloud and platform engineering teams to guide architectural decisions
• Deliver product and technical presentations at customer meetings and events
• Act as a customer advocate by bridging the gap between customers, product teams, and engineering

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
• Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript, C#, or Java
• Deep familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, application modernization, and Open Source technologies
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or AWS CDK
• Demonstrated experience in software development and related best practices
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical customer engagements
• Experience in solution selling methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup or fast-paced technology environment
• Public cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with enterprise software sales
