Solutions Architect for API Management Platforms

Responsibilities

• Envision and design ZF API Management Platform strategies, architectures, and end-to-end solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic advice regarding architecture principles and technology lifecycles.
• Define platform performance, reliability targets, and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure adherence to API Management governance, security policies, and proven best practices.
• Optimize product architecture and security by resolving bottlenecks and designing automated processes.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to implement highly scalable services in a polyglot landscape.
• Stay current with emerging cloud-native and API Management technologies to evangelize their adoption.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree or equivalent with a proven track record in Cloud Engineering.
• Expert knowledge in architecting and scaling API-based solutions on Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Extensive knowledge of distributed system strategies including SOA, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD, and GitOps principles.
• Strong understanding of security and identity protocols including OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with Linux fundamentals and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Ability to work within Agile practices and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
