Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales exercises and deliver technical presentations to customers
• Lead design of creative solutions from conception to delivery
• Support sales in answering RFI/RFP/RFQ and other customer proposals
• Craft well-defined descriptions of operations, statements of work, and project specifications
• Work with development teams and project managers to deliver client solutions
• Provide solutions assurance to ensure alignment with client requirements and technology standards
• Articulate and manage technical risks
• Contribute to the product roadmap and future solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise to clients and colleagues
• Travel as required, primarily within the UK region

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles, solution architecture, and technical design
• Deep expertise in the payments industry, specifically card payments (credit, debit, prepaid)
• Hands-on experience with card processing systems and standards like ISO 8583
• Experience integrating with card networks such as Mastercard and Visa
• Proficiency working with APIs
• Application architecture expertise in Java-based applications
• Knowledge of cloud and on-premise infrastructure
• Strong understanding of the global payments landscape and regulatory environments
• Excellent English communication skills for stakeholder engagement
