Solution Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of solution engineers serving as product introduction, evaluation, and education experts
• Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets and build relationships
• Work alongside revenue leaders to set the go-to-market strategy for the territory
• Escalate customer feedback and product gaps to executive staff
• Interpret complex problems and collaborate with prospects, channel partners, and sales teams to deliver solutions
• Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, marketing, and services teams
• Manage the sourcing, screening, and interview process for potential candidates
• Act as a player/coach by delivering compelling presentations to customers and prospects

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in pre-sales or engineering
• 2+ years of direct front-line management experience (hiring, training, and retaining talent)
• Expertise in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Cloud Computing
• Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
• Ability to connect customer mission problems to technical solutions
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
