Solution Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-impact team of solutions engineers focused on pre-sales and customer engagement for major automotive collaborations.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic global customers, leading architectural discussions and business model reviews.
• Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales motion, from initial discovery and customer onsites to solution validation and deal closure.
• Partner closely with leadership, engineering, and business development teams to translate complex customer needs into winning technical proposals.
• Identify core customer problem statements by navigating ambiguous spaces and translating them into compelling solution narratives.

Requirements

• 8 to 13 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven expertise in pre-sales with a track record of successfully closing complex deals.
• Experience with automotive software development workflows and customer team dynamics.
• Strong background in technical sales, ideally transitioning from a development or design engineering role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at major automotive suppliers or automotive software-first companies.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with selling motions for dual-use applications or high-stakes industries such as aerospace and defense.
