Solution Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first technical point of contact for prospective customers, leading early-stage architectural discussions
• Plan, host, and drive customer onsites by owning the agenda and coordinating stakeholders
• Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers focused on pre-sales and customer engagement
• Drive the full pre-sales motion from initial discovery through solution validation and deal closure
• Identify and articulate core customer problem statements and strategic priorities
• Partner with leadership, engineering, and business development teams to drive technical outcomes
• Translate complex automotive and mobility needs into effective technical solutions using the product suite

Requirements

• 8 to 13 years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Expertise in pre-sales with a successful track record of closing deals
• Proven experience transitioning from a development or design engineering background to technical sales
• Experience with automotive software development workflows and customer team dynamics
• Ability to drive new business-focused technical engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at major automotive suppliers or automotive software-first companies
• Start-up experience
• Familiarity with selling motions for dual-use applications or high-stakes industries like aerospace and defense
