Solution Engineer - Vehicle OS

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical bridge between automotive customers and Applied Intuition’s engineering and product teams
• Support OEMs in adopting the Vehicle OS portfolio, including middleware stacks, developer SDKs, and IVI/infotainment integration
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, demos, and early-stage deployments with OEM and Tier 1 engineering teams
• Help customers adopt code-first developer toolchains, onboarding teams onto SDKs, and setting up virtual ECU environments within CI/CD pipelines
• Guide OEMs through the design and implementation of service-oriented vehicle architectures and system integration across ECUs and high-performance compute
• Collaborate with customers’ IVI teams on AAOS integration, Linux-based stacks, and HMI/cluster software
• Triage and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal product teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers, specifically in SDV, E/E architecture, or IVI
• Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive) and automotive developer tooling
• Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols such as SOME/IP, DDS, CAN, LIN, or automotive Ethernet
• Experience with vehicle software toolchains (SDKs, virtual ECUs, SIL) or IVI platforms (AAOS, Linux-based IVI, HMI software)
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Programming experience in C/C++ or Python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SDV platforms or zonal E/E architectures
• Knowledge of OTA systems and vehicle software lifecycle management
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety or SOTIF
• Experience with Cabin Intelligence technologies (DMS, OMS) or AI/ML pipelines
• Proficiency in German or other European languages
