Solution Engineer Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage technical activities of the solution engineer team and lead technical stages of the sales process
• Mentor team members through active coaching, direction, and regular feedback
• Present, demonstrate, and support the sale of Esri software and solutions
• Act as a technical leader for ArcGIS and a subject matter expert for various industries
• Propose solutions that address critical business challenges using GIS
• Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with Esri technology (mapping, spatial analysis, web applications)
• 3+ years of experience in mentoring, motivating, and coaching teams
• Advanced understanding of the full ArcGIS system
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS in an IT context (hardware, software, cloud, databases, etc.)
• Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
• Experience participating in a sales process
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, business administration, or a related field

• Master’s degree in geography, GIS, business administration, or a related field
