Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical conversations and demonstrate the value of Microsoft solutions to customers
• Drive customer success by securing technical wins and influencing solution strategy
• Collaborate with partners, sales teams, and engineering organizations to deliver customer outcomes
• Identify partner capability gaps and support technical readiness
• Provide strategic technical recommendations to shape account plans
• Present and apply architecture patterns to partners or customers
• Oversee technical demonstrations, including architectural design sessions and proof of concept (POC) sessions
• Act as a trusted advisor to assess and consult on customer security and digital transformation needs

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 3+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• OR 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience
• OR equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery experience
• 4+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
• Technical certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure Architect, Office 365, Power BI, Cloud Platform Technologies, or Information Security)
